Inquiries regarding the United Methodist Church, please go here.
The New Methodist Conference was founded in 2005 with a simple idea: to form a network of Christian faith communities in the tradition of John Wesley and the early Methodist "societies"; and as Wesley did, to offer a generous and grace-filled welcome to anyone and everyone seeking a personal relationship with Jesus as they encounter him in the Gospels.
We are an independent denomination; we have no affiliation with the United Methodist Church.
We continue to live experimentally with new ways of coming together as a network of disciples, a gathering of faith communities and ministries. Together we are people who share a desire to follow the Way that Jesus taught, and believe that we have been called to reveal his Good News in the living of our lives. We are to love and forgive, heal and bless, nurture, comfort and care for God's people, just as our Lord did. There is no single "right" way for a person to respond to God's call.
Every person is welcome to join with us, regardless of the labels our society uses to divide us. We seek always to celebrate among us the lavish diversity of God’s Creation.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about us, and would be delighted to engage in conversation with you about the Christian path, your call, or our community. May the Source of Love and Joy encourage and inspire you always.
